We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative to provide cleaning services for one of our clients in Market Harborough.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday 4pm to 5.30 pm.
This is a part time position and will total 7.5 hours per week. More hours are available if required. Overtime may also available in different accounts to cover other team members taking leave.
Office cleaning experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given.
A can-do attitude with an eye for detail and the ability to work as part of a team is a must.
All uniform and cleaning materials are provided, and full training will be given.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages to management.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
