Regen Renewables Ltd is a rapidly growing company specialising in the design, installation and servicing of Air Source Heat Pumps as well as the installation of Solar PV. Our mission is to make the world a greener place through the utilisation and installation of innovative up and coming renewable technologies.
The Finance Manager is responsible for the posting of all transactions as well as provide management with accurate information to allow them to make financial decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Posting of all transactions in Xero
- Reconciling all bank accounts
- Raising sales invoices
- Posting purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statements
- Maintaining fixed asset registers
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Delivering concise, accurate financial forecasts using trend analysis and projections to guide key business decisions
- Posting month end adjustments/journals
- Preparing monthly management accounts and KPI dashboard
- Liaising with external accountants who prepare statutory accounts
- Preparing schedules and reports as requested and responding to all internal and external finance queries
- Creating annual budget
Future growth:
This company has plans to grow and this will provide you with exciting opportunities to develop within this role as well as the finance function including:
- Managing new team finance team members as we begin to open to new offices
- Identifying areas of process improvement across the business and then implementing
- Implementing a computerised stock system.
The ideal candidate will have:
- First-rate numerical skills
- Strong bookkeeping skills and previous experience in a similar role
- Solid organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, including discussing finance with non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, accurately and to deadlines
- Highly computer literate with experience of accounting packages, preferably with Xero, and strong knowledge of Excel
- Possess relevant NVQ/SVQ qualifications or specialist qualifications such as AAT as a minimum
