Job Title: Grade 3 Manufacturing Operative
Reporting to: Manufacturing Shift Manager
Role Brief
Responsible for supporting the Manufacturing Shift Managers and Shift Supervisors in delivering a 'right first time' service, whilst adhering to all company Quality, Health and Safety policies, with maximum output and minimum waste, whilst ensuring all staff follow company policies and procedures.
Training for this position will be planned and tracked by working through both, the Grade 4 Pre-weigh and Grade 3 mixing operator training books.
Key Responsibilities
1. Batch processing: Weighing, dispensing & mixing chemicals, using various methods & equipment to produce a wide range of Personal care products.
2. Follow approved methods, standard operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice.
3. Ensure all equipment is clean and sanitised before use.
4. Ensure all batch documentation is completed and signed off in line with standard operating procedures.
5. Carry out in process batch testing/quality tests.
6. Data entry to maintain accurate stock records.
7. Chemical stock control.
8. Any other duties as required as per Manufacturing Manager and Manufacturing Shift Manager.
