The Role
As Bar Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of our bars, ensuring every guest receives warm, engaging and efficient service. You'll lead by example, inspire the team, maintain exceptional standards and help create the atmosphere that makes Oddfellows so unique.
This is a hands-on role, working behind the bar alongside the team while supporting managers in delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the bar team throughout each shift.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personality and confidence.
- Prepare and serve premium drinks, cocktails, wines, beers and hot beverages to a consistently high standard.
- Ensure service is efficient during busy periods while maintaining quality.
- Support the training and development of new team members.
- Carry out bar opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain excellent presentation and cleanliness throughout all bar areas.
- Ensure stock is rotated, replenished and stored correctly.
- Assist with stock takes and ordering.
- Minimise waste and maximise profitability.
- Ensure licensing laws and Challenge 25 procedures are followed at all times.
- Support the delivery of weddings, private parties, afternoon teas and immersive events.
- Handle guest feedback professionally, resolving issues wherever possible.
- Work closely with the restaurant, kitchen and events teams to ensure seamless service.
- Act as a Duty Manager when required.

- Previous supervisory experience within a quality bar, hotel or restaurant.
- Excellent cocktail, wine and spirits knowledge.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- Confidence managing busy services.

- Excellent attention to detail.
- A passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Personal pride in maintaining high standards.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
