Overview
Due to continued company growth we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join the team.
We are looking for an electrician to carry out domestic electrical work on an employed or self employed basis. The jobs will be predominantly kitchen and bathroom adaptions and will involve traveling to different sites in the area. You will be working alongside other trades within the area. during the ongoing contract offering secure long term work.
For the right candidate there will also be a bonus pay system in place based on performance.
Duties
- Install, adapt, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and identify wiring issues.
- Maintain records of the installations you have carried out.
- Follow electrical regulations and safety standards during all tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with electrical systems in residential settings.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Understanding of electrical regulations, safety regulations, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read installation drawings.
- Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Valid ESC card is preferred but not mandatory.
