Job Opportunity: Personal Assistant (Redcar)
We are seeking a friendly, empathetic, and experienced Personal Assistant to support a lady in Redcar in maintaining her independence at home. This role involves assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including washing and dressing.
- Assist with light domestic duties such as meal preparation, hoovering, dusting, and general tidying and organising.
- Support the client in accessing the community—enjoying time in the garden, visiting local places, and going out for coffee.
- Help with mobility within the home; experience with hoist transfers is highly desirable.
- Offer companionship and attentive support tailored to the client’s preferences.
- Care for the client’s cat, including feeding and cleaning the litter box.
Ideal Candidate:
- Reliable and compassionate with a sensitive, person-centred approach.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Experience with spinal injuries is an advantage.
- Must be comfortable around cats.
Working Hours:
Shifts may include full days or split shifts, with opportunities for additional hours to cover holidays and sickness.
Pay: £12.85 per hour
