Metal Fabricator / Welder
Bajwa Steel Ltd is looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator / Welder to join our team in London.
We are an established metal fabrication company specialising in the manufacture and installation of driveway gates, swing gates, sliding gates, railings, staircases, balconies and other architectural metalwork.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding a range of steel and metal products to a high standard. The role requires good practical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately from drawings and measurements.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble steel and metal components
Carry out ARC/MMA welding and other welding processes
Cut, shape, drill, grind and finish metalwork
Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
Manufacture gates, railings, staircases and other architectural metalwork
Use hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely
Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality
Follow all relevant health and safety procedures
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
Previous experience in metal fabrication and welding
Good ARC/MMA welding skills
Experience working with steel and sheet metal
Ability to read drawings and work accurately from measurements
Good understanding of fabrication tools and equipment
Reliable, hardworking and quality-focused
Experience with gates, railings, staircases or architectural metalwork is an advantage
Right to Work in the UK
Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
Candidates currently living in the UK, Europe or any other country must have valid UK work permission/authorisation that allows them to work in the UK for this role.
