Meikleour Trust Country Estate is looking for an enthusiastic Night Porter to join our hotel team at our award-winning hotel and restaurant the Meikleour Arms (AA 4* Gold).
The Meikleour Arms holds several awards, including the prestigious AA “Best Guest Accommodation Scotland” for 2022. Established in 1820, the restaurant at the Meikleour Arms is a high-end country pub (1 Rosette) serving Franco-Scottish cuisine with a unique “Field to Fork” philosophy, using produce from our land. The hotel attracts a varied customer base all year long: locals, salmon anglers, golfers, shooting parties, and holiday makers. The Meikleour Arms is rather unique and is regularly featured in prominent magazines and TV programs (most recently: Country Life, BBC Gone Fishing with Bob and Paul…). Despite its rural environment, the restaurant is a very busy place for lunch and dinner with a capacity of 80+ covers.
As a Night Porter, you’ll be right in the heart of the hotel, so we want you to take pride in everything you’ll be doing to support your Head of Department and keep things running like clockwork.
