Field Based Sales Executive
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join a family owned and run foodservice wholesaler based in Peterborough. Serving all styles of catering outlets within 2 hours base we offer a full range of goods including frozen chilled and ambient with the backup of national group buying power.
As a fast growing business eager to grow further they are looking for an individual who is capable of driving aggressive sales growth in a structured and profitable manner.
As a Sales Executive you will:
- Be responsible for a designated area of Food-service Accounts, targeted on profitable retention of existing accounts and new account gains.
- Visit existing customers to develop and manage to their full potential.
- Identify new business and gain new accounts.
- Maintain and develop new and existing customer relationships.
- Contribute towards the achievement of reaching sales targets within your geographical area.
- Generate growth in turnover and profit margin.
The ideal Sales Executive will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience within a Sales Executive, Field Sales, Account Management or Cold calling role in the Food Industry
- Previous knowledge and experience of working within sales, managing a portfolio of existing customers.
- A passion for food and learning about food products and solutions.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Enthusiastic approach to sales and customer service.
- Driven to be successful.
- Experience of dealing with local businesses.
- Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving license is essential.
A company car can be arranged or a mileage allowance depending on which you would prefer.
