Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00 | Saturday, 9:00–14:00

Salary: £24,000–£30,000 per annum, depending on experience

We are looking for a Tyre Fitter / Service Technician to join our friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical workshop experience who is looking to develop their skills across both tyre fitting and general vehicle servicing.
The Role
As a Tyre Fitter / Service Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tyre and vehicle maintenance work, including:
- Fitting, balancing and replacing tyres on a wide range of vehicles
- Carrying out puncture repairs and tyre inspections
- Performing wheel alignments and checking steering and suspension components
- Carrying out basic servicing and routine vehicle maintenance
- Replacing brakes, bulbs, batteries, wiper blades and other vehicle consumables
- Carrying out basic fault finding and identifying potential vehicle issues
- Checking tyre pressures, tread depths and overall vehicle safety
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed
- Managing and maintaining tyre and workshop stock levels
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards
- Providing professional and friendly service to customers
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and takes pride in their work.
Essential:
- Previous experience in tyre fitting or a vehicle workshop environment
- Good practical and mechanical ability
- A strong understanding of vehicle
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive, professional and proactive attitude
- Good customer service and communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience carrying out servicing, brake and suspension work
- Experience with wheel alignment equipment
- Experience with basic vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
- Relevant automotive qualifications or training
- MOT experience or relevant MOT-related knowledge
