Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our close-knit team in the Greenock Health Centre. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring safe medication management and providing exceptional patient care, aligning with our mission to serve the community with integrity and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and safety standards.
- Provide expert advice to patients regarding medication use and health concerns.
- Manage inventory and ensure the proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain detailed records of prescriptions and patient interactions.
- Stay updated on new medications, regulations, and best practices in pharmacy.
- Educate patients on medication adherence and health management strategies.
- Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medication administration, and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient service.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems is preferred.
- Prior ICU experience is advantageous but not essential.
