We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dental Nurse or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental team. Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient clinic operations.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments, setting up equipment, and ensuring all materials are ready for use.
- Provide compassionate patient care by offering reassurance, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols and data protection regulations.
- Support infection control protocols by adhering to sterilisation and hygiene standards at all times.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications to ensure an organised workflow.
- Develop your knowledge of dental procedures, materials, and IT systems used within the practice.
- Foster effective communication with patients and team members to promote a positive clinical environment.
Requirements
- A genuine interest in patient care and a commitment to developing as a dental professional.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Basic understanding of nursing principles or relevant healthcare experience is preferred; training will be provided for Trainee Dental Nurses.
- Familiarity with IT systems used in healthcare settings for record-keeping and appointment management is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- A professional attitude with attention to detail, hygiene standards, and adherence to health & safety regulations.
