About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring high standards of customer service, strong commercial performance, and effective team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve individual and business objectives.
· Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping environment.
· Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities for growth, and implement action plans to achieve targets.
· Manage stock levels, merchandising, and inventory control to maximise availability and minimise loss.
· Ensure the store is clean, safe, secure, and compliant with company policies and health and safety requirements.
· Recruit, train, and support team members, carrying out regular performance reviews.
· Manage rotas, staffing levels, and labour costs effectively.
· Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
· Produce and maintain accurate store records and reports.
· Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers where appropriate.
· Visit customers on site as and when required.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
· Previous experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
· Strong leadership and people management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· A customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering excellent service.
· Commercial awareness and the ability to analyse sales data.
· Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Confidence using retail systems and Microsoft Office applications.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
· A valid driver's licence and regular access to a reliable vehicle are essential requirements for this role. The successful candidate will be required to travel between store locations, attend meetings, and carry out other work-related duties as needed. As such, the ability to drive and travel independently is a fundamental requirement of the position.
Shift pattern - Hours are 8 am – 4.30 pm or 8.30 am – 5.00 pm Monday-Friday, with every other Tuesday 10.30 am - 7.00 pm in retail peak (October-December). We work a 37.5 hour working week within these hours.
