Role Overview
As a Team Member at Plan Burrito, you will be the face of the brand—delivering fast, friendly, and
consistent service to every guest. You’ll prepare food to our standards, serve customers with a smile,
and keep the store clean, safe, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Provide a warm welcome to all guests, ensuring every customer has a positive experience.
- Take orders accurately, upsell where appropriate, and serve food efficiently.
- Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.
Food Preparation & Safety
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines as set out in the training and the Operations Manual.
- Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP, allergen procedures, handwashing).
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation at all times.
Teamwork & Store Standards
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
- Follow shift instructions from Managers and Supervisors.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including front of house, kitchen, and bathrooms.
- Wear the correct Plan Burrito uniform and dress code at all times.
Compliance
- Follow all company health & safety procedures.
- Understand and respect UK workplace standards (holiday, breaks, equality).
- Support compliance with brand and franchise policies.
Person Specification
Essential
- Friendly, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and hardworking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service preferred.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Local knowledge and ability to connect with customers.

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
