Position: Housing Support Business Lead - Exec
Location: SL1 2EJ, Remote

Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Working Hours: 7.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: PAYE: £481.52 per day
Job Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain the Council's Housing Applications, including the NEC Integrated Housing Management System
- Manage incidents, problems, changes, and releases to ensure system availability and performance
- Monitor application performance and resolve technical issues within agreed service levels
- Coordinate system testing, upgrades, deployments, and enhancements
- Maintain data integrity, governance, and compliance with data protection requirements
- Produce and maintain system documentation, procedures, and support materials
- Support business change initiatives and identify opportunities for service improvement
- Deliver user support, training, and knowledge transfer where required
- Maintain business continuity, backup, and disaster recovery arrangements
- Liaise with Housing Services, Digital teams, suppliers, and third-party vendors
- Provide technical advice, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Ensure effective operational support and continuous improvement of Housing systems
Person Specification:
Essential Requirements:
- Experience supporting NEC Housing applications or similar housing management systems
- Strong background in ICT, Digital Services, or Technology Operations
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management
- Experience managing suppliers, vendors, and third-party support providers
- Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting system upgrades, business change, and service improvement
- Knowledge of data governance, information management, and data protection
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Degree, NVQ Level 6, or equivalent relevant experience
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with the NEC Integrated Housing Management System
- Local Government, Housing, or Public Sector experience
- Knowledge of Housing Management processes and legislation
- ITIL Foundation or higher certification
- PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, or other project management qualification
- Experience with cloud-based or SaaS applications
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. BCS)
