Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in project management software and civil engineering tools. The ideal applicant will have a solid background in construction and/or management, alongside exceptional time management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Monitor progress regularly through site inspections and reporting; adjust plans as necessary to meet project milestones.
- Manage and oversee contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure effective communication of project status to stakeholders.
- Implement best practices in project management to optimise efficiency and minimise delays.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional time management skills to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in construction and/or management are preferred.
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable for site visits and meetings across multiple locations.
Pay: £45,000.00 per year
