Are you commercially curious, analytical and passionate about retail? We're looking for an Assistant Buyer to join our Buying team at Ryman, where you'll help develop exciting product ranges, identify commercial opportunities and support the delivery of successful promotions across our stores and online.
Working closely with the Buyer, you'll analyse sales performance, monitor market trends, support new product launches, build supplier relationships and collaborate with teams across Marketing, Merchandising and Space Planning.
What you’ll be doing
Support the delivery of sales and margin targets across your categories.
Analyse product performance and identify opportunities.
Assist with range reviews and new product launches.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Work with suppliers and support cost negotiations.
Help deliver promotional plans and online product content.
Manage product setup, supplier invoices and day-to-day administration.
Visit suppliers and trade shows.
