Duties
- Conduct thorough risk assessments related to financial planning and investment strategies, identifying potential vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement

- Develop and implement risk mitigation frameworks, policies, and procedures to minimize exposure and enhance operational resilience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management practices into daily financial activities and strategic planning processes
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance and adapt risk strategies accordingly
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key risks, recommended actions, and progress on mitigation efforts
- Support internal audits by providing insights into risk factors affecting financial services activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial planning or risk analysis within the financial services sector
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify key risk indicators
- Excellent communication skills for articulating risk findings clearly to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in risk management
- Proficiency with data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and risk management software
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field; advanced certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) are a plus
- Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively
