In this role, you will engage with clients and visitors, provide exceptional service, and drive sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. Your enthusiasm and organisational skills will ensure a smooth customer experience while contributing to the overall success of our Self Storage facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales and customer service expertise and make the role your own. We are excited to be opening a new facility on the same industrial site this Winter 2026, and you will be integral to the transition to the new building and the ongoing success of the business as it grows.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the appropriate storage units based on their needs
- Communicate product features and benefits clearly, emphasizing value to encourage rentals and upgrades
- Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Conduct tours of storage facilities, highlighting key features and answering questions confidently
- Upsell additional services or products to maximise customer satisfaction and revenue opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, rental contracts, and payments using organisational skills
- Support merchandising efforts by ensuring the facility is clean, organised, and visually appealing at all times

Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling payments, calculations, and rental agreements accurately
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional customer service practices
- Experience in merchandising or retail sales (desired)
- Ability to work well independently and as part of our friendly supportive team.
- Drivers licence required.
