Suzette, located in the heart of South Kensington’s bustling "Little French Quarter," is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Trainee Chef who is serious about learning the culinary trade and progressing into a skilled Chef/Crêpier.
We work in a fully open kitchen, so you don't need a massive CV—just a fantastic work ethic, a polished presentation, and a genuine passion to learn. We will teach you the rest!
What You’ll Learn & Do
- Master a Skill: Learn the traditional French art of preparing and cooking authentic buckwheat galettes and sweet crêpes on professional griddles.
- Kitchen Basics: Learn correct food preparation (mise en place), ingredient storage, and portion control.
- Food Safety Standards: Get hands-on training in basic food hygiene, safe food handling, and kitchen health standards.
- Open Kitchen Service: Work closely with our senior team in a clean, front-facing kitchen, learning how to stay calm and organised under pressure.
