Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of air conditioning systems and related HVAC equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate at peak efficiency and longevity.
- Read and interpret mechanical schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Lead maintenance projects, coordinating with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems or upgrades.
- Inspect equipment to identify potential failures or inefficiencies and perform timely repairs or replacements.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and system performance logs.
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior technicians or apprentices, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex HVAC systems and components.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and system layouts.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring team members.
- Skilled in equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
- Extensive knowledge of air conditioning systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
- Construction experience is a plus, especially in integrating HVAC systems into building frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to clients and team members.
