This is a freelance (self employed) part-time in-person role for an evening and weekend French Teacher for adult group classes (maximum 6 students per class) based in East London, United Kingdom, with some flexibility for extra remote 1 to 1 teaching. The French Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalised French lessons to individuals or small groups. Key tasks include preparing lesson plans, customising content to meet student needs, evaluating progress, and fostering an engaging learning environment. Collaboration with the team to contribute to continuous improvements in teaching strategies may also be required.
Qualifications:
Native speaker
Proficiency in French Teaching and Tutoring
Background in Education and demonstrated teaching experience
Skills in Teacher Training and ability to implement effective teaching methodologies
Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying skill levels
Previous experience with one-to-one and small group instruction is a plus
Degree in Education, Language Studies, or related field is preferred
Good knowledge of Notion & tech savvy
Strong managerial skills and working autonomously
