Range Exchange is a family-run business with over 30 years of experience specialising in the restoration and reconditioning of AGA cookers. Based in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, we are proud to be supplying beautifully restored cookers to customers across the UK.
As demand for our reconditioned electric AGA cookers continues to grow, we're looking for a practical, customer-focused Field Engineer to join our experienced team.
The Role
Due to continued business growth and an increasing number of installations, we have an exciting opportunity for a Field Engineer with mechanical and electrical aptitude to collect, deliver, install and commission reconditioned electric Aga cookers.
No previous Aga experience is required, as full training will be provided by our experienced engineers.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll travel throughout the UK, visiting customers in their homes to deliver exceptional service. All travel is carried out in a company vehicle, and no overnight stays are required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Collecting and delivering electric Aga cookers nationwide
- Installing and commissioning reconditioned Ag cookers in customers' homes
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the Range Exchange brand professionally
- Troubleshooting and resolving minor mechanical and electrical issues on-site
- Ensuring installations are completed safely and to the highest standard
About You
We're looking for someone practical, reliable, and who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
You'll ideally have:
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Mechanical and/or electrical experience (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use your own initiative
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- A friendly, professional approach with excellent customer service skills
- A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- A smart, well-presented appearance
- Applicants must be aged 25 or over for company vehicle insurance purposes.

The role is based from our purpose-built workshop in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, although the majority of your time will be spent travelling to customer installations across the UK.
