Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Early Years Room Leader Level 3 to lead and inspire our vibrant childcare team. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily running of the early years room, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s developmental milestones across areas such as communication, social skills, and physical development.
- Supervise and support a team of childcare practitioners, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to maintain high standards of care.
- Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and a warm, approachable manner.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by maintaining rigorous health and safety protocols and conducting regular risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental observations in line with regulatory standards.
- Support ongoing staff training and professional development initiatives to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues clearly.
- Knowledge of current childcare regulations, safeguarding procedures, and best practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to organize activities efficiently while maintaining a nurturing environment for children’s growth.
- A valid driving license is preferred for roles requiring travel between multiple sites or community engagement activities.
