DOGHOUSE is a unique concept, we're a grooming salon, pet shop and café in one, designed as a haven for dogs and dog lovers to come together over a great cup of coffee while their dog gets pampered. We want owners and their dogs to feel at home when they stop by so friendliness and great communication is a must when working for us.
This is a fast paced role, you will be responsible for both the shop floor - interacting with customers, stocking shelves etc - as well as behind our café counter serving coffee and cake. We will provide full barista training as well as product training so you are fully qualified in both aspects of the role.
DOGHOUSE is independent, female owned and we truly care about each other as a team, which really shines through in the way we do things. We truly care about building good customer relationships, seeing customers come back time and time again (and seeing their dog's grow up in front of your eyes) is a truly wonderful part of the job.

We're looking for an employee for 2/3 days a week which will include weekends.
We are looking for candidates with an enthusiasm for dogs, design & independent stores, who are motivated to work independently and as part of our small team.
Pet shop experience, or having an in-depth knowledge of pet products is preferred, but the main requirement is a love of dogs and a drive to learn.
Traits: Dedicated & loyal, an eye for detail, friendly, hardworking, positive & proactive.
The role will involve:
- Working directly with customers within the store, providing friendly & outstanding customer service
- Managing the online booking diary for grooming appointments
- Keeping a detailed record of stock & customer orders
- Maintaining a high level of store presentation
- Developing product knowledge
- Accepting deliveries & checking stock received (this can be hard physical work)
