Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tool Pre-Setter to join our manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and measure tools for CNC Machine Tools.
- Ability to work safely and comply with all HSE procedures.
- Clearly read and understand B.O.M. & drawing instructions.
- Work on own initiative within a busy toolroom
- Manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Manage and organise various consumable locations ensuring accurate stock is maintained.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Promote company values at all times.
- Assist in training where and when necessary.
- Ensure customer requirements are being achieved.
- Ensure best works practices are employed
Requirements:
- Machinist or previous engineering environment required.
- Able to work in both Metric & Imperial units.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to be proactive and problem solve with own initiative.
- Able to work individually and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude, good time keeping and attendance, self-motivated
Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
