We’re growing and looking for a passionate, reliable, and friendly dog groomer to join our highly rated salon in the heart of Bakewell. If your are a qualified stylist with 2 years commercial experience we’d love to hear from you.
Experienced Dog Groomer / Stylist
Pay: £14.50 per hour
Hours: 16–30 hours per week (with opportunity to build to full-time)
About the role:
You’ll be confident handling a variety of breeds and grooming styles, delivering high-quality grooms to our loyal client base while maintaining excellent standards of care and professionalism.
Key responsibilities:
- Full grooms including bathing, clipping, scissoring, and styling
- Handling dogs safely and compassionately
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Providing excellent customer service and advice to pet owners
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year professional grooming experience post qualification.
- Relevant grooming qualification
- Strong breed knowledge and styling skills
- Confident, calm, and caring approach to dogs
- Reliable with a good work ethic
