We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar and Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively restaurant environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing outstanding service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the high standards of our establishment. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Duties
- Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
- Prepare and set up bar areas, including garnishing drinks and maintaining cleanliness.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as required, adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including clearing tables and cleaning utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
- Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any special requests or concerns.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including food safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Good communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with guest services and upselling techniques is desirable.
- Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential qualities for success in this role.
