Senior Generator Engineer
£50,000 OTE £70,000
Van + Fuel Card + Overtime
We are looking for an experienced Senior Generator Engineer to provide technical support to depots, engineers and customers.
Senior Generator Engineer duties:
- Diagnose and repair generator and electrical faults
- Carry out commissioning, repairs, upgrades and modifications
- Work on rental equipment, including Stage V generators
- Attend customer sites for technical support, commissioning and surveys
- Support engineer training and mentoring
- Assist with technical investigations and major projects
- Comply with Health & Safety procedures
Skills & Experience needed from the Senior Generator Engineer:
- Relevant Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Diesel Fitting or Plant qualification OR approved apprenticeship
- Experience servicing and repairing generator sets such as FG Wilson, Cummins or similar generator experience
- Electrical bias preferred
- Strong fault-finding and communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
