Zoar Care Home is situated in Clydach Vale, Tonypandy. We currently have opportunities for Bank (Zero hours) staff who can cover in Housekeeping and Laundry and/or kitchen departments. We take pride in providing a welcoming and clean environment for our residents and their visitors, and in providing a warm and friendly service to our residents at mealtimes. You should be able to show an understanding of Health & Safety, Infection Control, COSHH and the safe storage and handling of cleaning products and basic food hygiene awareness for kitchen work.
We are currently seeking Bank (Zero hours) staff to help cover in times of holidays or other absences. Working between Monday and Sunday, shifts are 6 hours a day, 7am to 1pm in housekeeping and 7.30am to 1.30pm or 1.30pm to 7.30pm in catering. Please be aware that as a member of our bank staff team you should be flexible and able to cover any shifts required, sometimes at short notice.

Your duties may include (but are not limited to):
- General cleaning duties around the home and residents bedrooms, including bathrooms and toilets
- Deep cleaning around the home periodically
- Laundry services including washing, drying and ironing
- serving meals
- prepping food for the cook
- clearing and cleaning dining areas
- serving the tea trolley in between meals
- washing up
On successful completion of a 6 month probationary period, staff have access to a healthcare benefits scheme. There is a small enhancement on hourly rates for weekends and Public Holidays.
