Electrician (Solar Qualified)

Salary: £37,000–£43,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday

About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Electrician with solar PV experience to join our growing team covering South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established company delivering high-quality electrical and renewable energy installations for domestic and commercial customers.
The successful candidate will carry out a variety of electrical work, including solar PV installations, maintenance, fault finding, inspections, and testing while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems.
- Install, commission and maintain solar PV systems.
- Carry out electrical testing, inspection and fault finding.
- Complete certification and job documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach on every job.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- AM2 qualification.
- Valid ECS Gold Card.
- Solar PV qualification and practical installation experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship.
Desirable
- Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent).
- Experience installing battery storage systems and EV charge points.
