ACTING TEACHER – Your Role
Thursday Evenings - 5:30pm-8pm @ Sale High School
Friday Evenings - 6:30pm-8:00pm @ Sale Moor Community Centre
Saturday mornings - 9:45am - 1:00pm @ Sale High School
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic Acting Teacher to deliver engaging classes to children and young people ages 7-16. Teachers must be fully committed to the full 12-week term, ensuring consistency for students and productions. The above hours may be split between multiple candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging acting classes
- Teach performance skills including characterisation, voice, and improvisation
- Rehearse students for showcases and full scale productions
- Create a positive, supportive, and professional environment
- Communicate effectively with the Footlights team
Essential Requirements
- Experience teaching or working with young people in performing arts
- Strong acting and performance background, musical theatre experience preferred
- Excellent reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Ability to commit to the full 12-week term and attend all scheduled sessions
- Strong classroom management and communication skills

Pay: £22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
