Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
- Oversee food safety procedures, maintaining compliance with health and hygiene regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Assist in menu planning, development, and innovation to meet customer preferences and seasonal offerings
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to minimise waste
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times
- Lead by example in fostering a positive team atmosphere centred on hospitality and professionalism
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with team management skills
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent organisational skills
- Experience in food production, menu development, and service delivery
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including serving processes is advantageous
