Role summary
Project Manager to lead delivery of high-density data centre builds in Auckland, projects with power delivery in the 20-50MW range, significant MEP scope, and high voltage infrastructure requirements. You'll manage delivery for major global clients on mission-critical builds where getting it right matters, technically and commercially.
Key responsibilities
· Oversee project establishment through design and construction phases
· Manage stakeholder relationships and client engagement at all levels
· Manage risk across design and construction lifecycles on complex builds
· Manage procurement and NZS3910 contract administration
· Maintain and drive accurate project reporting and documentation
· Coordinate MEP-heavy scopes and high voltage infrastructure delivery
· Drive team, consultant and contractor performance safely and effectively
· Support project commissioning and handover readiness
Key skills & experience required
· Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management or Engineering
· Substantial project management experience on large, complex builds
· Genuine data centre project delivery experience essential
· Strong understanding of MEP-heavy scopes and high voltage power infrastructure
· Sound knowledge of NZS3910 contracts and procurement
· Superior stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
· Track record delivering multi-million dollar projects
· Exposure to hyperscale, colocation or similarly large-scale technical builds highly regarded
