About the Role
As a key member of our warehouse and delivery team, you’ll ensure timely and accurate deliveries to our on-trade and off-trade customers across Yorkshire and Northern England. This is a hands-on role that involves order preparation, loading, and delivering stock — all while offering friendly, reliable, and professional service. This role is based out of our warehouse in Ossett, West Yorkshire.
What You’ll Do
- Order picking, Preparation and loading of customer orders for delivery.
- Deliver orders efficiently and safely, maintaining our service standards.
- Represent Barrique with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse, performing basic checks surrounding goods delivered into the warehouse (Quantities, vintages etc.).
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year of experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse operations (preferred)
- Basic Microsoft IT Skills (preferred)
- Full and clean UK driving license (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual, proactive, organised, and dependable
- Able and willing to step-up and assist in managing operations to cover holiday.
- Must be physically fit and able to carry out a physically demanding role.
Working Hours
- 5 days per week: Monday to Friday (Hours usually between 08:00 and 16:00, however it's dependant on the delivery schedule and could be flexible.)
- Full-time (with flexibility during busy periods)
