Responsibilities
- Build trusting relationships with children and young people, offering consistent emotional support and encouragement
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational outings

- Collaborate with colleagues and families to create tailored care plans that meet individual needs
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety policies and reporting any concerns promptly
- Engage children in educational activities, play, and teaching opportunities that stimulate growth and learning
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress notes, and incidents to ensure continuity of care
Skills
- Experience working with children or young people in a supportive or educational capacity
- Strong mentoring abilities with a genuine passion for helping others succeed
- Excellent communication skills to effectively listen, motivate, and teach diverse individuals
- Ability to remain energetic, positive, and proactive in dynamic environments
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in supporting young people
