We are looking for a sous chef to join our busy kitchen team here at the Steam Packet Inn. We are looking for someone to come in and work alongside us, running the kitchen on a day to day basis, working on menu development, implementing new systems to benefit the business and, importantly, ensuring the standard of food received by the customer is top notch. Full training will be provided so hat you can integrate into our dynamic, busy kitchen.
This position has excellent scope for career progression into a head chef position for the correct candidate who wants to develop their skill set
We work with a flexible rota and have a team of chefs to cover all parts of the day, ranging from breakfast through to dinner with the kitchen operating all hours - we work on a majority of straight shifts however the odd split shifts may be required
We provide free on site parking, 25% staff food discount after completion of probationary period, free food on a shift over 6 hours, an equal share of tips received and hopefully a fun environment to work in
