Job Description
The HSEQ Lead focuses on developing and embedding effective health, safety, environmental, and quality practices across operational teams. Working closely with stakeholders, the role supports the delivery of consistent standards while encouraging a culture of shared responsibility and accountability.
Through collaboration, coaching, and governance, this position helps teams strengthen their approach to compliance and performance. The role combines strategic planning with practical support, ensuring that systems, processes, and behaviours align to create safe and efficient working environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage HSEQ plans to support continuous improvement across sites
- Support, coach, and guide operational teams to strengthen HSEQ awareness and ownership
- Ensure alignment with management systems, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Promote key HSEQ programmes and initiatives across the business
- Lead or support incident investigations, identifying root causes and actions
- Oversee audit and inspection programmes to maintain high standards
- Drive environmental processes and ensure compliance with requirements
- Manage contractor processes, including governance and ongoing improvements
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support collaboration and trust
- Champion a positive HSEQ culture and encourage safe behaviours
