OVERVIEW
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable On-Call Support Worker to provide essential assistance within our social care services. This role offers flexible hours to support children, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide out-of-hours support to young people and attend their properties when required
- Respond to emergencies, safeguarding concerns & welfare issues
- Liaise with emergency services & professionals
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and any incidents or concerns that arise during shifts.
- Promote safety, well-being & independence
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Full UK residency with the legal right to work in the UK
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Access to a reliable vehicle insured for business use
- Experience working with young people (16-21) or in social care (preferred)
- Good communication, IT & record-keeping skills
- Good understanding of safeguarding
- Ability to work independently & make sound decisions
- Flexible & available for rota-based shifts
- A caring attitude combined with organisational skills to adapt quickly to changing needs in a flexible on-call capacity.

PAY:
£40.00 per on-call shift
£40.00 for the first 3 hours of emergency call-out and £13.50 per hour thereafter.
£80.00 for 24-hour cover

SHIFT PATTERN
Monday - Friday (Weekdays):
5:30 pm - 8:00 am
Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays:
8:00 am - 10:00 pm
10:00 pm - 8:00 am
WORK PATTERN:
3 shifts or 4 shifts per week
Pay: £13.50-£40.00 per hour
