Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, meals, maintaining a bar and contributing to the overall guest experience. 18+ only.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with guests to provide outstanding customer service, addressing their needs and preferences effectively.
- Wait staff duties include serving meals and drinks to tables and having a good knowledge of the menu and food preparation
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between the bar and kitchen.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a hygienic work environment.
- Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for hospitality and helping others enjoy their experience.
