- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of senior chefs
- Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen
- Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and storage areas
- Follow recipes and instructions while maintaining consistency in food quality
- Support kitchen operations by handling prep work and mise en place
- Learn and apply proper cooking techniques for different dishes
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries while maintaining stock rotation
- Follow health and safety regulations and comply with kitchen protocols
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by senior chefs to support smooth kitchen operations
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Keen attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
