Daytime Brunch Kitchens | 40–45 Hours per Week | No Evening Shifts
Loudons is a family-run business with two busy city centre cafés, supported by our own onsite bakery and central production kitchen. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced brunch environment where you'll take ownership of your own section while working closely with the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver the high standards we're known for.
About the Role
As a Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for running your own section during busy breakfast and lunch services, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented consistently while supporting the team to deliver a smooth, organised service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Running your own section during service
- Preparing, finishing and presenting dishes to Loudons' specifications
- Supporting the team to deliver an efficient, high-quality service
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Assisting with stock rotation and keeping your section organised
- Helping train and support junior members of the team

What We Offer
- Full-time, permanent position
- Daytime shifts (typically between 7:00am – 5:00pm)
- Approximately 40–45 hours per week
- Positions available at both our Fountainbridge and New Waverley restaurants
- Equal share of tips (currently averaging around £2.50 per hour)
