We are looking for a proactive hands-on person to take on our new Saturday Customer Experience Specialist role. The aim of the role is to support the running of our furniture and white goods recycling operations on Saturdays. Working closely with the Saturdays Supervisor you will play a key role in delivering -
- Keeping our warehouse organised
- Accepting and sorting donations
- Serving our instore customers
- Using social media to market items for sale
- Helping us to deliver essential services to the community
We see this role as a fantastic opportunity for someone taking their first steps into the world of work. No experience is needed, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Your standard working patterns will be Saturday 9.30 to 13.30 at KFR Swindon but there may be opportunities to cover team holidays at other times.
The hourly rate for this position will be £13.54.
What You’ll Do
- Serve our customers with a positive, helpful and approachable attitude
- Assist with the sorting, cleaning and pricing of donations for the shop floor
- Get stuck in with some DIY and help us to build and dismantle beds ready for sale, delivery or collection
- Help us to market our furniture, bric-a-brac and children’s items on our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment for both staff and customers
- Approach challenges with a positive and proactive attitude to find workable resolutions
- Provide outstanding customer support by addressing enquiries and assisting with any issues during transit.
- Be enthusiastic about recycling and furniture reuse.

Revive communities by removing unwanted items, reducing landfill and retraining people with new skills.
