Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their drink orders with enthusiasm and efficiency
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, following safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems while handling payments securely
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours, demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Be able to cook our simple menu in our kitchen.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
