Optima Health and Social Care Ltd are looking to recruit a Support Worker to join our team based in Haydock area (WA11). The role is to support a fantastic 11 year old boy at home, living with parents, in school, and in the wider community.
This young man is looking for someone, who is, positive & able to support him with his clinical/ health & Social needs. You will be part of a committed and fantastic team who he loves. Full training including clinical / delegated health care tasks, to meet his needs and keep him safe.
We are looking for people who are either:
- Experienced in supporting children and young people with health and additional needs (desirable) . FULL training is given to the right candidates through our In House - Nurse Trainer Practitioners.
- Wanting to work with one extremely happy little boy and his family, supporting him in all respects?
- Would be confident in driving a Service User's Motability vehicle?
- Are you wanting more consistent shift patterns - supporting no more than two Service Users (not numerous)?

The Applicant:
- Hold a full UK driving license (Essential, as a great deal of driving his Motability car is required - need to have a licence to drive manual car/gears)
- Flexibility to work some days, evenings, waking nights and weekends (mixed Team Rota i.e. not all nights & not every weekend) - Rota basis.
- Be able to use mobile apps?, required to access all his Care Plans which are needed to complete work tasks & Training.
- Have the natural ability to be caring & passionate about supporting this young man.
- Be prepared to be committed, learn new skills and knowledge.
