Job Overview:
Rocket training is a small independent Training provider in Liverpool, we are looking to recruit a Functional Skills tutor in Maths & English with a customer service background.
We are looking for an experienced Tutor to deliver Functional skills in Mathematics & English up to Level 2 under the new reform, which was introduced in September 2019. Your role will be to inspire learners and deliver teaching sessions for those working towards their Functional Skills Math's / English exams. You will help them to realise their potential as you support, advise and guide them through their training. You must be passionate about learning and delivering the best training and development. You will be experienced in working with different methods of delivery, groups of various sizes and learners of mixed abilities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with young learners
- Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous
- A passion for helping students succeed in their academic pursuits
