Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified refrigeration engineer looking for a varied role, working with modern cooling systems and supporting the UK's dairy farming industry.
The Role
Based from our depot at Tushingham or Ashbourne, you'll travel to customer sites across the Midlands to:
- Install, service and maintain bulk milk tanks, silos and dairy refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and repair refrigeration faults quickly and efficiently
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and annual servicing
- Commission new refrigeration equipment
- Respond to emergency breakdowns as part of a shared on-call rota
- Complete digital job reports and maintain accurate service records
- Deliver excellent customer service while building long-term relationships with our farming customers
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience working within the refrigeration and air conditioning industry
- Relevant refrigeration qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
- F-Gas Certification
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Desirable:
- Experience with dairy refrigeration or bulk milk cooling systems
- Electrical fault-finding experience
- Experience commissioning refrigeration equipment
- Agricultural or farming knowledge
