We are seeking a dedicated and proactive School Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation across the school, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and work alongside the housekeeping team, ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
- Oversee daily cleaning schedules, deep cleaning, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and place orders as required
- Ensure all areas of the school, including classrooms, communal spaces, and extended day areas, are well maintained
- Assist with setting up rooms for school activities and events when needed
- Serve refreshments, including preparing and serving teas, to pupils staying for an extended school day
- Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional presence within the school environment
- Report maintenance issues and liaise with relevant staff to ensure timely resolution
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping supervisory role
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Good understanding of health and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and commitment to supporting the school community

Pay: £12.75-£18.25 per hour
