We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our innovative Psychological Skills Development Service on a permanent, full-time basis. The role will involve working across our Coventry and North and South Warwickshire localities.
The Psychological Skills Development Service is a creative, forward-thinking and pioneering team dedicated to enhancing psychologically informed practice across mental health services. We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based training and skills development programmes that promote clinical excellence, workforce development and improved outcomes for service users, both within the Trust and with external partners.
This is an exciting time to join the service. There is a growing commitment across mental health services to embedding trauma-informed approaches, and the team plays a key role in supporting this vision through training, research and service development initiatives.
We are looking for a motivated individual who is organised, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a supportive psychology team. The successful candidate will be expected to use their own initiative, manage designated projects within their level of competence, and contribute positively to the continued development of the service.

As a Band 5 Assistant Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of activities, including:
Supporting the design, development and delivery of psychologically informed training programmes.
Assisting with research, evaluation and quality improvement projects.
Monitoring, auditing and evaluating the impact of services and training initiatives.
Supporting the facilitation of staff training and group-based learning sessions under the supervision of qualified psychologists.
Contributing to the development of innovative training resources and learning materials.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across a range of professional disciplines to support workforce development.
