The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled freelance Copywriter to join our contractor network. You'll be responsible for producing clear, persuasive and engaging copy for businesses across a range of industries. Projects will vary from website copy and marketing campaigns to blog content and advertising, so we're looking for someone who can adapt their writing style while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Write compelling website copy that communicates each client's products, services and brand effectively.
- Produce marketing copy for landing pages, email campaigns, brochures and promotional materials.
- Create engaging blog articles and SEO-focused content.
- Write persuasive copy for Google Ads, social media and other digital advertising campaigns.
- Develop clear calls to action that improve conversions.
- Research client industries, competitors and target audiences.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality.
- Optimise content for readability and search engines where required.
- Complete revisions based on client feedback.
- Communicate professionally with the Armada Growth team throughout each project.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a copywriter.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of copywriting projects.
- Excellent written English with exceptional grammar, spelling and attention to detail.
- Ability to write in different tones of voice for different brands and audiences.
- Understanding of marketing principles and conversion-focused writing.
- Knowledge of SEO copywriting is desirable.
- Strong research and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
